Good morning, good friends
how are you faring?
Do you experience grief and fury
and gladness, kind caring?

Have you ever witnessed
a songbird embrace a tree
and in turn the tree's branches
stretch, graceful, with glee?

Have you ever once heard
the mournsome moan of a loon
intermingled with peace tune
gazing, in awe of the moon?

And, my friend, do you believe that,
these sweet whispers, these musics, this dance of the earth
pound with rhythm within all
long before the day of our birth?

Do you think that possibilites are endless and true
that perhaps last night, a wild sea turtle was dreaming of you?

Why

1 min read
Why
must people complain of rain,
and once rain ceases for a long while,
they pout about
too strong a heat?
There is no need for such foolishness,
for the lack of wisdom
of praising the loveliness of a beach
and afterwards tossing litter alongside it
how rude that is
how dare they defile and shame the wild
Those noodleloafs should shame themselves,
for such mindlessness
I hope they shall learn
for the better!
Why must they not stop
drilling, disgracing wild places
such as the Arctic Islands
only for the sake of oil, of profit,
they do not stop
until oil spills across the waters
drenching
Good golly, such evil corporate polluters!
I hope they shall cease
at once!
Will they?

Howdy Fellas! Today I concocted some groovy mashed peas (the sugar snap variety) for the dandy chickens! The sweet zumaroonies here are faring swell I think and we are thankful to have many kind helpers (such as a new young pair of people who are very groovy and their names are Sebastian and Shawn, who is a lassie.)! We witnessed a magical, wondrous and enchanting rainstorm last night! I had quite a blast zooming around in the mysterious, watery air! Furthermore, I was mentioning that I created a form of mashed pea sauce for the lovely fellows. I must please tell you how this is done(it is a curious and rather complicated process): the pea-chef shells the peas, then proceeds to gently yet firmly mash or grind them with a rock, as though you were using a mortar and pestle. If you do this for a long while, it will eventually create a pea mash that is swell to eat for sweet chickens who cannot chew or swallow (seeing as they do not possess teeth) larger, whole peas.  Very nice!
Also, my ma and I traveled to New York in Manhattan today to watch the near end of the annual, massively-participated triathlon( this particular race was a one-mile swim, twenty five mile bicycle, and six mile run!) to raise money for various good causes! My aunt Shunyi who is a very dear Taiwanese lady participated too and some of our other family came too, to watch her. She did groovily, as did many many others; it seemed as though we could feel adrenaline pulsing through the air! We all had a bunch of fun exploring magical Central Park and an organic cafe and Trader Joes, a swell Grocery store. I must go water the greenhouse now, and I hope you have had a fine day! Yesterday Siena's ma Suzanne and I had a goofy time with some other helpers picking peas and potatoes, as well.

Good afternoon, friends! Thankfully we had a dandy experience at the Farmers' Market today again. Something especially nice and also sad was a lovely young lady who I believe is named Elisia and has been a kind, friendly customer for a while has been wearing a scarf over her head for a while now. Eventually my Pa brought up the subject with her since we feared she most likely has cancer. Indeed, she does, but she explained that it is breast cancer and has been receiving chemotherapy and is soon to receive surgery and radiation, and hopefully, hopefully she will heal well. My Pa has had a brain tumor about twelve years ago, and communicates with an intelligent natural nutritionist called Jean Wallace (which is no doubt a pretty groovy name!) who specializes in cancer nutrition, therefore my Pa wanted to help Elisia and discussed it with her a bit and recommended Jean Wallace to her. I truly hope this shall help her: and also we gave her lots of organic vegetables, especially garlic, that shall hopefully aid her well-being! It is tricky to explain how sweet she is, and I hope she will fare well! I apologize for ranting on(though certainly you do not have to continue to read, my friend!) but several interesting things have happened at the market! For instance, something very exciting but also somewhat troubling is the fact that we may have identified(not yet caught) a thief at our farmstand! This thief is a middle-aged lady with abnormally yellow hair who seems to usually come once a year to the market. In the past she has once argued about how much change she needed back (she asked for more than was accurate), but most often each time she asks a very odd question, attempting to distract us, then makes off with a stolen vegetable! I am intrigued at this nutty situation and we hope to catch her the next time she arrives: perhaps in an attempt to strike again! Very exciting this is!

Good day, friends! I have, if I may say, some truly precious news I'd like to tell you: it escaped my mind to tell you earlier! Approximately a week ago, I was walking on the lane with dear Mimo and Susie (who are very dandy canines) and found a beautiful, distressed young rabbit lying and panting on the edge of the lane, with a slightly bloody nose. I spent some time attempting to peacefully comfort the sweet fellow, and eventually, with my ma and pa's assistance, placed the precious creature in a box with some dandy bedding. Using some instructions from the wonderful organization, Woodlands Wildlife Refuge, we placed him or her in the cool, dark, quiet basement to rest. Later, when we returned, the dear, dear creature had died. I hope very much that he or she knew that they were very loved, and hopefully shall rest with deep peace.
As well, on Sunday I discovered a wondrous young bird who had evidently ventured out of its nest a bit too early. It was dangling by only one foot just above the ground, for the sweet fellow had caught its foot in a plastic nub attached to our house, near the ground. The bird was evidently upset, sweet fellow he or she is, and I zoomed over to attempt to untangle the sweet fellow. After consulting Ma and Pa again, we placed him or her also in a box and set him on the lower roof of the house, right below the lovely birds' nest. Thankfully, we can reach this place by climbing through the windows, which I had great fun doing! He or she is also a truly magnificent creature. Next morning the fine feller seemed to be faring swell. Later on that day, Pa reported that the bird had disappeared, which hopefully means that he or she was able to fly away (it seemed as though it was very close to being able to fly, so perhaps it received its full abilities!). Groovy snikeroonies they are, no doubt!
Furthermore, I was just helping Pa and another nice farm volunteer named Alison on the Waterwheel, planting red and yellow beets as well as Red Butterhead Lettuce! Very dandy indeed. May I ask you a question? Do you feel that "The Yawning Kiwis", "The Peaceful Ferns" or "The Leaping Elm Leafs" are dandy names for a musical band of some sort? Or do you perhaps have any other suggestions?
